How To Play

How to currently play Trivia at one of our shows.

With everything going on in 2020, we have made several changes in the way we run our show. Here, we will walk you through how to play so you will be ready when you get to our venue!

We have implemented a web-based answer sheet into our show. No longer will you have to crowd the Host table at the end of a round to turn in papers, or even come up in a large group for a tie breaker.
With current seating restrictions, you may be seated in places where we currently do not have TV’s displaying our questions. Don’t fret! We are now sharing our screen on a Zoom call for each show.

Accessing this is easy, and you will be able to see the questions no matter where you sit. In our experiences thus far, we have found it cumbersome to switch between the answer sheet, and the zoom call. We advise you to have two devices on your team, fully charged, and at least one of those with the capability to access Zoom. A tablet will offer a better viewing experience for the show in the event you are unable to see a trivia TV.

In the next step, I will walk you through how to answer questions.

Now that you are familiar with our new system, we are making it even easier for you to log in. At each show, we will have a QR code on the screen, and printed out for your convenience. On the device you would like to use for either the answer sheet or the Zoom call, open your camera and point it at the QR code. This will prompt you to open a browser to our website where you can find links to the web-based answer sheet, our Zoom screen-share, and our social media where you will gain access to our weekly freebies.

In conclusion, our new setup is not hard to use. After the first couple of times, most people have found they like the web-based app better than the “old fashioned” paper and pencil. Expect the first couple of shows to be a little slower pace as we roll this new system out. The developers of this system are constantly making updates, and making it an enjoyable experience for the hosts, and the players. We hope to see you soon!
